We took a nice float down the Weiser River in Council.  We put in at the bridge in Council then took out at the bridge on Jackson Creek Road.   This is probably the last time this year that we'll be able to float the river as the water is getting pretty low...a few more days and it will be low enough to walk down it.  On this day, it was still pretty good although it was low enough in a few spots that we had to scoot over it or drag our floats over it.  Otherwise it was a perfect day for a float trip!  If you look at some of the pictures with the river banks in it, you'll see how high the water sometimes gets in the spring.  You can see how the river flow is much higher and carves out the banks.
